AGNES MARIE LAGACE
LAGACE, AGNES MARIE - At the Grand Falls Manor, July 23, 2004, Mrs. Agnes Marie Lagace of Grand Falls passed away at the age of 96 years. She was the wife of the late Pierre Lagace. Born at Riviere-Verte in 1908, she was a daughter of the late Damase and Lea (Lavoie) Thibodeau. A full-time mother dedicated to raising her family, she also found the time to learn and play many musical instruments, her favorite being the violin. In her latter years, she was an important part of any occasion at the Manor which required musical talents. She was predeceased by two sons, Leonide and Stephen and granddaughter, Stella. She is survived by three daughters, Aline Fournier of Montreal, Lorraine Shaw (Sheldon) of Oshawa, Ontario and Yvette Moore (Mike) of Miramichi, two sons, Clarence (Linda) of Wapske and Allan (Wanda) of Queen Charlotte Islands, B.C., one brother, Joseph Thibodeau of Riviere-Verte, 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. Her funeral will be held Tuesday, July 27th at 4 p.m. from the St-Georges Roman Catholic Church, Grand Falls, with interment in the St-Georges Cemetery.
