MERCER, DELLA - Miss Della Mercer of Hartford, Connecticut and formerly of Ratters Corner passed away on October 4, 2003 at the age of 95. Born in New Brunswick on May 14, 1908, she was the daughter of the late Joseph H. and Maude E. (Mitchell) Mercer. Della is survived by two brothers, Hazen (Snowie) of Ratters Corner, Carl (Margaret) of Norton; two sisters, Ruby Atherton (Bob) of Greenwood, NS, Barbara Buchanan of Petitcodiac; as well as several nieces and nephews. Della was predeceased by five brothers, Eldon, Kenneth, John, Fred and Joseph. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176).
