OUELLETTE, GEMMA - At the Grand Falls General Hospital, July 25, 2004, Mrs. Gemma Ouellette of Drummond passed away at the age of 75 years. She was the wife of Morel Ouellette, whom she married October 22, 1945. Born at Drummond in 1929, she was a daughter of the late Onezime and Annie (Cote) Leclerc. She was predeceased by one son, Louis-Marie; grandchildren, Julie Ouellette-Bernier and Christian Picard; four brothers, Treffle, Romeo, Claude and Guy; and two sisters, Lorraine Deschenes and Laura-Gemma Leclerc; sisters-in-law, Rosima Albert, Emma Lavoie, Agnes Albert and Stella Martin and brother-in-law, Robert Ouellette. Besides her husband, she is survived by thirteen children, Murielle Campbell (John) of Nackawic, Marie-Marthe England (Michael) of Yukon, Oklahoma, Jacqueline of Dieppe, Gerald (Marie-Reine Levesque) of Grand Falls, Marguerite Lebel (Cyr) of Drummond, Yolande Picard (Paul) of Edmundston, Micheline Ouellette (Jacques) of Saint-Andre, Francine Baxter (Robert) of Powell River, B.C., Jean (Michele Demers) of Burlington, Ontario, Linda (Bernard Desjardins) of Grand Falls, Mario (Lynne Guay) of Drummond, Chantal (Terry Sabourin) of Fredericton and Fabien (Debbie West) of Egbert, Ontario, 24 grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, four sisters, Jeannette Pinette, Edna Bosse, Ella Langlais and Hilda Riverin, one brother, Richard Leclerc (Madeleine), sisters-in-law, Anna Albert, Alexina Ouellette, Rita Ruest (Guy) and Gilberte Levesque, as well as nieces and nephews. Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 p.m. Her funeral will be held Thursday, July 29th at 4:15 p.m. from the Saint-Michel Roman Catholic Church, Drummond, with interment in the adjoining cemetery. For those who wish, donations to the extra-mural hospital program, the Foundation of the Friends of the Grand Falls General Hospital or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. www.oregans.ca
