LAUZA PETERS
PETERS, LAUZA - Much Loved and Much Missed. Mrs. Lauza Peters of the Parish of Saint Peter's Church in Saint John New Brunswick died on Thursday, July 24th after struggling for several months with leukaemia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Saint Peter's Catholic Church at 11:00am on Monday, August 2, 2004. The burial will be at 10:00am Tuesday, August 3, 2004 at Saint Joseph's Cemetery. Lauza will be missed by her brothers: Dominique, Dolor and Medor; her sister: Francoise Cormier; her children: Jill, Sandi, Don, John and Jean; as well as her grandchildren: Tyler, Jesse, Mitchell, Mikhel, Marya and Martin; her nieces, nephews, other family members, and many co-workers and friends. Lauza will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to be charmed by her great big smile and welcomed into her strong loving arms. The warmth of her spirit was echoed in the warmth of her oven as she fed an ever-growing multitude of family, friends and pets throughout the years. Lauza's kitchen was always open, and visitors were assured of a nice cup of tea and a word of welcome. Watching sports, she never had a favourite team, but cheered for anyone who looked like they needed a cheer. She was steadfast and loving. The family would like to thank all of her loved ones who offered their support, faith and friendship during her illness. We hope you remember her as we do, baking a huge batch of homemade bread, creating one of her wonderful quilts, working in the garden, walking the dogs and laughing. Visitations will be held at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Saturday July 31, from 7-9pm and on Sunday August 1, 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The family would appreciate donations made to the charity of the donor's choice. www.fundyfuneralhome.com
