McGEE, PAUL T. - The death of Paul T. McGee, 60, of Nauwigewauk, husband of Elizabeth (Daglish) McGee occurred August 2, 2004 at his residence. He was born at St. Stephen, son of the late Hazen and Gladys (Horsnell) McGee. Paul received an Honourable Discharge with the Canadian Army in 1967. He was employed with Saint John Shipbuilding for twenty seven years and the past six years with the Canadian Corps of Commissionaires. Paul was a member of Hampton Branch #28, Royal Canadian Legion; Hampton Lions Club; and I.B.E.W. Local 502. He enjoyed painting and taking his grandson fishing. Surviving besides his wife Elizabeth are one daughter Kelly Thompson (Peter) of Nauwigewauk; one son Scott McGee (Tanya) of Hampton; three sisters, Lois Dack of MB, Edna Higgins (Gordon) of St. Andrews, Gerri Peterson (Carl) of Maine; two brothers Blair McGee (Irene) of Toronto, Herbert McGee (Betty) of BC; two grandchildren Ethan and Elise; sisters-in-law Wendy McGee (Mike) and Islay McGee; several nieces and nephews including special nephews Aden (Erica) and Christopher (Katie). He was predeceased by three brothers Douglas, Robert and his twin Peter. The family welcomes friends at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, Thursday 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The funeral will be held Friday, 11:00am, at Reid's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Les Petrie officiating. Interment in Hampton Rural Cemetery. Memorials to War Amps or donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. A Legion tribute will be held Thursday at 6:45pm and a Lions tribute at 8:00pm at the funeral home.
