URQUHART, EVVA MAE - The death of Mrs. Evva Mae Urquhart, wife of the late Willard L. Urquhart, of Saint John, occurred on Thursday August 12, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1927, in Lakeside, Kings County, NB, she was the daughter of the late Merritt and Glendora (Beyea) Hill. Evva was a member of Calvary Temple, and was involved with the Federal PC's and Provincial PC' s, and was an Honorary Member of Fundy PC's. She is survived by her loving daughters Joan Anderson (Tom) of Oakwood, Ontario and Marlene Whalen (Frederick) of Saint John; brothers Benjamin Hill (Hazel) of Lower Kars, Kings Co, NB, Eugene Hill (Rebecca) of Woodstock, NB, Vincent Hill of Hampton and Wayne Hill (Cecile) of Saint John; sister Alberta Robertson Hill of Saint John; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Sunday and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday August 17, 2004 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Acadian Loyalist Cemetery, French Village.
