Clemment (Kuk) Jones AMHERST - It is with great sadness that we the family of Clemment (Kuk) Edward Jones age 55, of Amherst announce his death on May 6, 2008, at Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born October 24, 1952, in Amherst, N.S., he was the son of the late Ivan Jones and the late Luppina Jones Martin (nee Nienhuis). During his school years Clem did competitive wrestling, as a young man he travelled with the carnival and later was a cook at a restaurant in Amherst. Kuk worked at E.L. Casey for a number of years but his true love was carpentry and loved remodeling his home. He had a great love for animals especially his dog Pork Chop. Kuk also worked in the cement finishing business with his step-dad Robert Martin. He will be greatly missed by his son Jamie (Rosie) of Brookdale, daughters Jennifer (Rick) of Amherst, Lillian of Halifax, step-daughter Stacy (Danny) of Amherst, brothers Robert (Diane) of Amherst, John of Markham, Ont., sisters Stella (Barry) of Oshawa, Ont., Joanne of Amherst, Ellen (Terry) of Chelmsford, Ont., five grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Clem was predeceased by his mother Luppina Martin, step-dad Robert Martin, brother Gary and his father Ivan Jones. His remains are resting at Campbell's Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst (667-9906) with visiting on Thursday, May 8, 2008, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Funeral service will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. from Campbell's Chapel with Pastor Veronica Mercury - Crichton officiating.
