WHITE, ELLA - At her residence on Sunday, August 15th, 2004; Ella (Laskey) White of the Kennebec Manor, wife of the late James A. White, passed away peacefully. Born in Saint John she is the daughter of the late George Howard and Maime (Haynes) Laskey. Ella lived in Saint John all of her life being a member of the Salvation Army Citadel and also a member of the Army House League. Ella is survived by sons, Robert of Prince George, BC, Donald of Saint John West, Douglas (Joan) of Nerepis, Norman (Linda) of Golden Grove, NB, Bruce (Diana) of Saint John West, Stephen of Saint John West, daughters Ruth Cruise of Saint John West, Doris White of Gondola Pt, Dorothy (Danny) Robichaud of Saint John West, Evelyn (Richard) Dagenais of Trenton, Ont, Jean White of Saint John West, Phyllis (Alvin) Edgett of French Village, sister Annie Bastarache of Saint John West, 32 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband and parents, Ella was also predeceased by sons George and David, brothers Raymond Charles, William and George as well as sister Florence. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue, West Saint John (506-634-1701) with visitation today from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and the funeral service Wednesday, August 18, 2004 at 1:00 pm. The interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery followed by a reception at the Fallsview Family Reception Centre. Donations to the charity of the donors' choice would be appreciated by the family.
