DUNFIELD, JOSEPHINE - Mrs. Josephine Dunfield of Penobsquis, NB passed away on August 17, 2004 at the age of 79. Born in Penobsquis, Josephine was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Bernetta (Fleming) McLeod and the beloved wife of the late Havelock Dunfield who passed away in 1998. Josephine is survived by four sons, Mike (Patricia) of Sussex, Danny (Mary Ellen) of Bangor, Maine, David (Lynda) of Fort St. John, BC, Karl (Shirley) of North Rustico, PEI. A brother William (Audrey) of Montreal, three sisters, Mildred Shannon of Urney, Ella MacLeod of Penobsquis and Elizabeth O'Laughlin (George) of Charlottetown, 14 grandchildren, five great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. Josephine is predeceased by her son Joseph, her daughter Joanne, and by her brother Norman and his wife Melba. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Wednesday 2-4, 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Penobsquis United Baptist Church on Thursday, August 19, 2004 at 1:00 pm.
