D. Linda Rushton AMHERST - D. Linda Rushton age 59 of Amherst passed away on Friday, January 19, 2007 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre in Upper Nappan, with her husband by her side. Born in Springhill, N.S, she was a daughter of Charles Tupper and Ramona (Harrison) Rector of Amherst. Linda enjoyed dancing, darts, poker and playing with her computer. She was empoyed at Oxford Frozen Food until her illness. Linda will be dearly missed by her friends and family. Besides her parents, Linda is survived by her loving husband Curtis; daughter Cindy (Greg) Kivi of Truro N.S; three sons Charles Shawn (Linda Lukes) Chapman of Riverview N.B., Jason Bedford Chapman of Amherst and Lewis Cecil (Laureen) Rushton of Belmont N.S. 6 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Carla (1997). Cremation has taken place. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2007 from Campbell's Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst, (667-9906) at 2 p.m. with Rev. Byron Corkum officiating. Interment will take place in the spring in the Amherst Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donation in Linda's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. www.campbells-amherst.ca
