KENNETH "KEN" RICHARD McEACHERN

McEACHERN, KENNETH "KEN" RICHARD - Kenneth "Ken" Richard McEachern passed away peacefully in Vernon, B.C. on August 19, 2004 with his family at his side. Ken was predeceased by his mother Henreitta McEachern in August 1995 and two brothers-in-law Chester MacDonald and Frank Geldart. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Jeannine, daughter Lori McEachern of Kamloops, son Dale McEachern of Port Moody, three step-sons Barry Dennis of New York City, NY, Scott (Nancy) Dennis of Vernon, Robb Dennis of Burnaby, B.C., two grandchildren Taylan and Kyle Dennis of Vernon. Also survived by his father Alexander of St. John, New Brunswick, six sisters; Joyce MacDonald, Betty Geldart, Jean (Ken) Berry, Mary (Phil) Agnew, Doreen (David) Van Dirstein, Frances (Terry) Wilson, three brothers; Malcolm (Lorna), Tom (Barb), Wayne (Lynn), loving mother-in-law Irene Mills, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and numerous other relatives, close friends and Army buddies. In earlier years, Ken was a member with the Royal Canadian Engineer's. Upon leaving the service he became a very successful business man, owning and operating his own accounting business in Surrey, B.C. Ken and Jeannine then moved to Vernon in 1997, to retire and move close to family. A memorial service with Pastor Roy Montgomery officiating and the Royal Canadian Legion Colour Guard will take place at Pleasant Valley Funeral Home Chapel, 4303 Pleasant Valley Rd. on Saturday, August 28, 2004 at 2:00PM. Donations to Hospice House greatfully accepted in lieu of flowers. Arrangements in care of PLEASANT VALLEY FUNERAL HOME 542-4333.
