HAMILTON, CECIL C. - The death of Cecil C. Hamilton of Hampton, husband of the late Georgia (Peacock) Hamilton occurred August 24, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born at Truro, N.S. son of the late Roy and Laura (Conley) Hamilton. Cecil worked at McAvity's for several years retiring in 1982. He enjoyed oil painting and working in the garden. Years ago he worked at the Children's Hospital and always had time for children. He is survived by one daughter Cecilie Vanwart of Hampton; one son William C. Hamilton (Jennifer) of Lethbridge, Alberta; two sisters Vera Dennison (Curtis) and Phyllis Brown (Doug) of Saint John; one brother Allan Hamilton (Marion) of Saint John; four grandchildren, eight grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. The funeral will be held Saturday, 2:00pm, at St. Paul's Anglican Church with Rev. Wally Collett officiating.
