THOMAS, SYDNEY JOHN - The death of Sydney J. Thomas, age 87, of Kars, NB, occurred at Bayview Special Care Home, Kars, on Wednesday, September 1, 2004. Sydney was the son of the late James and Mary Ann (Williams) Thomas. He is survived by one son; Glendon Thomas, Sussex, brother; Leslie, Kars, two sisters; Betty Thomas, Kars, and Doris and Eldred Beers, Wickham, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by brothers; Gordon, Norman, Albert, and Clifford. Resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home, (839-2156) 18 Scovil Road, Norton with visiting Friday, from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Sherwood's Funeral Chapel, at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 4, 2004, followed by burial in Riverbank Cemetery.
