WALKER, MARIA - The death of Maria Walker of Victoria Glen Manor and formerly of Aroostock occurred on September 6, 2004 at the Victoria Glen Manor at the age of 79. Born in Fort Fairfield, Me. She is survived by six daughters Cheryl Spek of Victoria, B.C., Marjorie (James) St. Amand of Anderson Rd., Lorraine (Victor) Baker of Fredericton, Donna (Randy) Bradfield of Sooke, B.C., Marion (David) Monteith of Saint John and Ruth Sanford of Carlingford; four sons Gilbert (Debby) Walker of Barrie, Ont., Gordon (Sharon) Walker of Saint John, Robert Walker and Curtis (Nancy) Walker both of Aroostook; 30 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Lawrence Walker, parents George and Ruby (Redicker), Curtis, one daughter Peggy, one grandson Stephen, five brothers and one sister. Resting at White's Funeral Home with visiting hours on Wednesday, September 8 from 7-9 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 9 at 2 PM from White's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Vincent officiating. Interment in the Presbyterian Cemetery. Memorial donations to C.N.I.B. or the Southern Victoria Cancer Fund would be appreciated by the family.
