COLE, DOUGLAS O. - of Elliott Row, died peacefully on September 27, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born in Saint John, NB and was the son of the late Oreian and Cora (Ferris) Cole and husband of Shirley Cole. He is survived by two sons Wayne Cole (Linda). Gerald Cole (Kim), one daughter Diane Novaczek (John), one sister Gladys Cole and five grandchildren; Emily, Katherine, Matthew, Sydney and Samantha. Douglas was employed with G. E. Barbour and Company as a Salesman for 41 years, he was a past member of the Knights of Pythias, a member of D.O.K.K., a member of Germain Street Baptist Church and Simonds Lions Seniors Club. Resting at A.W. Cavanagh Funeral Home, 91 Leinster Street (634-1712) with visitation on Wednesday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm The funeral service will be held in Cavanagh's Chapel on Thursday at 10:00 am followed by internment in Ocean View Cemetery.
