LOIS MAY FARRIS

FARRIS, LOIS MAY - The death of Lois May Farris of Fredericton, NB, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Sunday, October 3rd, 2004. Born in Nashwaaksis, NB, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Ina (Colter) Pugh and the wife of the late Everett Farris. Lois was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. The grandchildren nick named her "Nannie Cows" because of the farm they once owned. Lois's family loved to visit her, as her sense of humour was very special and memorable. Survived by one daughter, Sandra Nickerson of Fredericton, NB; six grandchildren, Sonja Farris, Laura Heffern (Troy), Patti Munn-Farris, Jennifer Nickerson, Joanna Nickerson and Daniel Nickerson; four great grandchildren, Ashley Farris (Linden), Kristin Thompson, Natasha Heffern and Emily Heffern; one sister, Millicent Sweet of Fredericton; one daughter-in-law, Penny Farris and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; first husband, Harry Neilson; second husband, Everett Farris; one son, George Farris and two brothers, Colter and David Pugh. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home 160 York Street, on Tuesday, October 5th, 2004 from 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from the J.A. McAdam Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, October 6th, 2004 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Doug Hapeman will officiate. A private family interment will be at the Forest Hill Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Dave Nickerson, Medley Fox, Peter Vaughn, Daniel Nickerson, Frank Cole, Everett McGarity, Dave Graham, and Troy Heffern.
