DORIS JUDITH BOUDREAU

BOUDREAU, DORIS JUDITH - Doris Judith Boudreau passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday October 8, 2004 after a hard fought battle with cancer. Born on February 7,1927 in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Judith (Robichaud) Boudreau. She is survived by her six brothers and sisters: Rita Nadeau (Leo) Enfield, Conn., Evelyn Boudreau, Saint John, Ann Kilfoil (Kevin) Sussex, Wally Boudreau (Edith), Miramichi, Jim Boudreau (Arlene) Saint John; Len Boudreau (Joan), Bloomfield; as well as eleven nieces and nephews and twelve great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by nephew Pierre Boudreau and sister-in-law Louise Boudreau. Doris was educated in Saint John Schools and worked at the Foley Pottery Plant, Maritime Dental Lab and retired as a dental receptionist. Doris enjoyed the company of her many friends and traveling. She will be missed by neighbors, Ray and Nancy, friends, family and especially her nieces Christine Valerie, Laura and Carol and nephew Richard; on whose lives she had a long and enduring influence. Their children - Erin, MacIsaac, Emma Alex, Ben, Ian, Jared and Kristen - will also miss Great Aunt Doris, who could always be counted on to spoil them and laugh at their latest antics. She will be deeply missed by great niece Kristen - to whom Doris was not only a great aunt but a friend and road trip buddy. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, (646-2424) with visitations on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Stella Maris Church on Tuesday October 12, 2004 at 11 a.m. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations made to the Palliative Care Unit of the Saint John Regional Hospital or the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. www.fundyfuneralhome.com
