STANLEY, GORDON HEDLEY EARL - The death of Gordon H.E. Stanley, age 83, husband of Doris (Edgar) Stanley of Midland, occurred at the Sussex Health Centre on Wednesday, October 13, 2004. Gordon was the son of the late Earl and Mercy Mae (Urquhart) Stanley. Gordon is survived by his wife, sons; Bill and Jim and Barb of Midland, daughters; Carol and Ray Thorne, Moncton, and Chris and Gary Nelson, Grand Bay, eight grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, one sister, Muriel (Moo) Mealey, Midland, several nephews, nieces and cousins. Resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home, 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB (839-2156) with visiting, Friday, 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM. Funeral service will be held from Sherwood's Chapel at 11:00 AM, on Saturday, October 16, 2004. Following cremation interment will be in Kiersteadville Cemetery.
