STEWART, RETA - Peacefully, at Queens North Health Complex, Minto, on Tuesday, October 12th, 2004. Reta G. L. Stewart (nee Amos), in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Harry G. Stewart of Chipman. A retired secondary school teacher and librarian, she was a former Distinguished Citizen of the Year in Chipman. Daughter of the late C. Spurgeon Amos and Ethel Price of Newcastle, she was the last of her family. Predeceased by her six brothers, Price of Powell River, B.C., Ernest of Newcastle, Bliss of Peterborough, On., Sterling of Oakville, On., Donald of California and infant brother James Amos. She will be missed by her one surviving sister in law, Kathleen Glenn and will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Chipman Funeral Home on Friday, October 15th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., with Funeral Service in the Chapel on Saturday, October 16th, at 2 p.m. with Rev. John Dunnett officiating. Interment Chipman United Church Redbank Cemetery.
