GREEN, GEORGE BURTON - The death of George Burton Green of Kean Road, Saint John occurred on Friday October 15, 2004 at his residence following a long struggle with brain cancer. He was born in Saint John and was the son of the late Burton and Gertrude (Crilley) Green. He was employed in the construction field and was with Babcock Wilcox Ltd for over a 24 year period. His passion was as a commercial fisherman beginning at age eleven. He loved gardening, fishing and hunting. He is survived by his wife Isabel (Keating) Green; sons, Burton, George Jr. (Heather LeDrew); daughter, Lindsay (Mike Reynolds), all of Saint John; brothers, James (Brenda) of Hartland, Arthur (Carol) of Saint John; one niece, one nephew and several cousins. Resting at A. W. Cavanagh Funeral Home 91 Leinster Street, (634-1712) with visiting on Monday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1:00pm in Cavanagh's Chapel followed by cremation and burial on Wednesday at 11:00am in Holy Cross Cemetery. www.awcavanagh.com
