LOGAN, OLIVER JACK - Oliver Weldon (Jack) Logan, of Quispamsis, passed away unexpectedly on Monday October 25th, 2004, surrounded by his wife Gwen and other members of his family at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John and raised in Fairvale, he was the son of Mildred M. Logan (Kelly) of Fairvale and Jack W. Logan of Oak Bay NB. Jack is survived by his wife Gwendolyn (Alexander) Logan; one daughter, Olivia Dawn Logan; one son, Kyle David Logan; sisters; Susan May, Wendy Hatfield (Wilfred), and Cathy Francis. His extended family; Jim (Grace) Alexander, grandmother in-law, Viola Evans, brother, in-laws, Leon (Debbie), Gary (Dawn), Stephen (Sharon), and Wade. Nieces and nephews; Ken (Diane), Linsey, Vicky, Brent, Jeremy Mitchell, Justin, and Leah and several aunts and uncles, and last but not least, his brothers at the Rothesay Regional Fire Dept. Jack was an honest and hard working man of few words. He always thought of others before himself, he was also a proud member of the Rothesay Regional Fire Department for over 20 years. He was loved and deeply loved by family and friends. Jack also was involved for many years in the family paving and trucking business. He was an avid race fan and loved camping with his family. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB. (646-2424) with visitation on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday Oct. 29th, 2004 from the Fundy Funeral Home "Chapel".
