DONALD WHITE BEYEA

BEYEA , DONALD WHITE - The death of Donald White Beyea, widower of Margaret (Scullion) Beyea occurred peacefully on October 29, 2004 at the Loch Lomond Villa. He was born at Smithtown, N.B. and was the son of the late Hanford and Amy (White) Beyea. Donald was a resident of French Village the greater part of his life where he engaged in farming and was a good neighbor to all. Donald worked at Saint John Port for 31 years retiring in 1982 and also owned and operated Dutch Gardens Landscaping for many years. He was a member of Local 1039 Shipliners Union. He is survived by four daughters, Donna Belyea (Bud) of French Village, Nancy Floyd (Richard) of Halifax, Connie Downey (Archie) of Hampton, Carol Beyea of Hampton and one son, Frank (Mary) Beyea of Ottawa, one brother, Harry (Lois) of Rogers Road, 11 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by infant daughter Elizabeth Ann, infant son James Hanford, two sisters Lee Beyea and Lois Smith, and two brothers Frank and Weldon. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. The funeral will be held Tuesday at Smithtown United Baptist Church with service at 2:00 pm. Interment in Acadian Loyalist Cemetery, French Village. Donations may be made to Loch Lomond Villa Alzheimers Unit or donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
