LLOYD (LANG), RUTH - Peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital Fredericton on October 31, 2004, Mrs. Ruth Lloyd (Lang) of Beechwood passed away at the age of 77. Ruth was a Scottish war bride who lived in Canada since 1946 in Baker Lake, Madawaska, Co, Tobique Narrows, Vic. Co, Beechwood, Car. Co, and Keswick Ridge, York Co. Ruth was the daughter of the late John Cheyne and Margaret Kelman and was born in Greenock, Scotland. She was predeceased by husbands Lionel Lang in 1968 and Turney Lloyd in 1999 and by her sister Jean Marshall (also a war bride) of Bear River, N.S. She is survived by her sister Margaret Gale of Scotland, 13 children, John (Marsha), Michael (Judy), Kenneth, Anne-Maire (Terry), Phillip, Peter (Lydia), Christopher, Marc, Stephen (Candace), Catherine (Paul), Theresa (Charlie), Susan and Denise, 17 grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and cousins on both sides of the Atlantic. She worked at the Annie I. Lockhart Home and River View Manor in Bath for 19 years. Resting at Kilcollins Funeral Home Bath, visiting Tuesday November 2, 2004, 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11 AM from St. Joseph's Church Bath, Rev. Dan Melanson and Rev. Keith Nielsen officiating. Internment will be in the Johnville cemetery.
