O'LEARY, DONALD V. - Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Sunday, October 31, 2004. Beloved husband of Pamela (Phillips) O'Leary and loving father to Krista and Terri - Lynn. Born in Saint John, the son of the late John and Helen (McGinley) O'Leary. Don was a kidney transplant recipient for thirty-three years, graciously donated by brother Kenny. Don certainly represented the gift of life. Family was very precious to him, and they are thankful for each day given to them over those years. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all who knew him. In addition to wife Pam and his daughters, Don is also survived by brothers Eugene (Frances), John (Estelle), Kenneth (Elaine); sisters Mary (Richard May), Helen (Ron Clark), Joan (Don Mazerolle); nieces, nephews and other extended family members. Along with his parents, he was also predeceased by his brother Allen. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave., (634-1701) with visiting on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Following cremation a Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2004 at 10 am from St. Rose of Lima Church. Interment in St. Joseph's cemetery. Donations in Don's memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation of NB or the charity of donors choice.
