STEVENS, FLORENCE ANNA - At Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, N.B. on Saturday, October 30, 2004. The death of Florence Anna (McGuire) Stevens, widow of Kenneth Albert Stevens of St. Stephen, N.B. She was born in RollingDam, N.B. May 24, 1920, daughter of the late Henry Earl and Annie Odessa (MacAffee) McGuire. Florence is survived by one son, five daughters, nineteen grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, one sister and her husband and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two sisters and two brothers. Florence held nothing more dearly, than the joy of raising her family. Cherished were reflections of her family heritage, the Grist Mill, Lumber Mill and making Maple Syrup. Somehow she balanced family life with employment at Lonicera Hall and Ganong Brothers. Resting at the S.O. Mehan and Son Funeral Home Ltd. 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, N.B. (506-466-1844) from where funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Bob Hinton officiating. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday evening, November 1, 2004 from 7-9 p.m. Interment Moores Mills Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.
