THORNE, JOHNNY ASHTON - Johnny Ashton Thorne, 55, of Cambridge Narrows passed away Saturday December 11, 2004 at home surrounded by his family. Born in Moncton he was a son of the late Harry and Flora (Campbell) Thorne. Johnny was an employee of P.C.S. in Penobsquis where he worked as a welder. He loved the outdoors especially hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife Barbara (Anketell), children Heather Thorne, Bradley (Kim) Thorne of Havelock, Brent Thorne of Saint John, grandchildren Bailey, Shae and Samantha, a sister Edna Blakney (Gerald), Upper Coverdale and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors at the Havelock Funeral Parlour, 19 Cross Street on Tuesday December 14 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral will be private for family. Interment will be at the New Canaan Cemetery. If so desired memorials to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. www.keirsteads.ca
