(nee Penney) It is with deep sadness that we, the family, announce the peaceful passing in the presence of her loving family at her home in Country Path, Holyrood, Edna Walsh in her 69th year. Predeceased by her husband, Cyril in 1984, her parents, Michael & Anastasia Penney, her sisters: Kate Healey, Gertrude Besso, Mary Walsh, her brothers: Michael & Ambrose Penney. Left with fond and loving memories are her daughters: Debbie (Joe) Fewer, Sherry (Derrick) Squires, and her son Doug, with whom she resided, her sisters: Julia Flynn, Theresa Crowley, Ann (Leonard) Walsh, her sisters-in-law: Ethel Penney & Betty Penney, and a large circle of extended family and friends. Resting at Dunphy's Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation on Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 12 noon to 9 p.m. Funeral will take place at 10:30 a.m. from the Holy Cross Church, Holyrood on Monday, July 14, 2008. Cremation to follow.
