TUFTS, HELEN I. - Born June 6th, 1918, passed away at her residence on Sunday December 19th, 2004. She was the daughter of the late Aubrey and Isabel (Hampton) McCumber. Helen was predeceased by her step-mom, Lillian (Clifford) and the one who raised her, Ida and Ola Patterson and by a sister, Muriel (Mig) Brown, Helen was also predeceased by her husband, Lyle in 1974. Devoted mother to three sons, Lawson (Darlene), Vincent (Alfreda), and Irwin (Kathy), two daughters, Vivian, and Marlene (Kevin). Cherished grandmother to sixteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and a brother-in-law, Gordon Brown. Resting at Fairfield United Baptist Church on Tuesday, December 21st, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Where the Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday December 22nd, 2004 at 2pm.
