CHARLTON, ROY GRANT - Roy Grant Charlton of Hoyt, NB passed away at home on December 21, 2004 at the age of 83. Roy is survived by his wife Geraldine Alice (Wooden) Charlton, one daughter Rose MacGougan (Laverne) of Hoyt, five sons Tony of Fredericton, Danny (Christie) of Fredericton, Darrel (Brenda), Mark, Kelvin (Carol) all of Hoyt, one sister Ruby Butler (Harry) of Hoyt, one brother Harry (Madeline) of Fredericton, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Roy was a truck driver most of his life, he loved to play cards and was a hobby farmer. He is predeceased by his parents Lorna (Graham) and Arnold Charlton, two sons Ricky and Phillip, three sisters Stella Mersereau, Evelyn Pettie and Mildred Burton, three brothers John, Percy and Ross. Relatives and friends are invited to Sunbury Funeral Home for visitations on Wednesday, December 22, 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral service will be from the Patterson United Church on Thursday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Mark Hatfield officiating. Interment at a later date.
