HAMILTON, DONALD WAYNE (DONNY ) - of Woodstock, husband of Ferne E. (Gilks) Hamilton, passed away at Carleton Memorial Hospital in Woodstock on Wednesday, December 22, 2004, at the age of 43. Born at Woodstock, he was the son of Walter and June (Rutherford) Hamilton. In addition to his wife and to his parents, Don is survived by a sister, Patti Martin (Paul) of Jacksontown; two brothers, Elwin Hamilton and Kenny Hamilton (Wanda), both of Avondale; nephews and nieces Holly (Jason), Elwin Jr., Savanah, Alysa, Shawn, Joshua, Allie, Chloe, Krystal, Laci and Madison; honourary nieces Rachel, Andrea, Alisha, Shenae; his parents-in-law Ralph and Joyce Gilks of Dalhousie; two brothers-in-law Ralph Gilks Jr. (Laurie) and Stacy Gilks, both of Dalhousie; a sister-in-law Wendy McPeake (John) of Dalhousie; aunts; uncles; cousins; his cat Misty, and many, many friends. Resting at The Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, with visiting on Sunday, December 26, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday at 2:00 PM from the Scott Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Dan Sentner will be officiating, with interment to follow in the Avondale Cemetery.
