SMITH, MINA BEYEA - The death of Mina B. Smith of Hanwell, NB occurred at Pine Grove Nursing Home on Wednesday, December 22nd, 2004. Born in Smithtown, NB, she was the daughter of the late Andrew S. and Mina (Kierstead) Beyea and wife of the late Nathaniel "Nat" Smith. After Mina graduated from the Normal School, she taught for three years. She was a member of the ladies group in Dalhousie, a longtime member of the Christ Church (Parish) Church and was actively involved in the ACW Seniors. She is survived by her daughter, Lolita Smith of Hanwell, NB and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, her husband, brothers, William and Karl and sister, Glendora Hill. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home on Sunday, December 26th, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Christ Church (Parish) Church on Monday, December 27th, 2004 at 2:00 pm. Archdeacon John Sharpe officiating with Rev. Elaine Hamilton assisting. Interment will take place in the Acadian Loyalist Cemetery, French Village, NB.
