GEORGE W. DAY
DAY, GEORGE W., - George White Day, beloved husband of Edna (McLaughlin) nee Clark, Day, and the last surviving member of his immediate family, went into rest Sunday, January 9, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in West Saint John, son of the late Charles and Lena (White) Day. George was a traveller for Canadian Johns Manville for 35 years. He was a member of Lancaster United Baptist Church, former member of Carleton Union Masonic Order, Chapter of Preceptory Shriner's , and a member of North West Traveller's Association of Winnipeg. In addition to his loving wife Edna, George is also survived by his only child, daughter Rosalie (Paul) LeBlanc, Saint John, NB., two grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, George was predeceased by his former wife Evelyn (Sharp) and brothers Ralph and Lawrence. At his request, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 14, 2005 in Castle "Fallsview" Chapel, 309 Lancaster Ave., (634-1701) at 1:00 pm. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery with a reception to follow in the Fallsview Family Reception Center. Donations may be made to the charity of donor's choice. www.castlefh.com
