MARR, NORMAN G. - The death of Norman G. Marr of Hampton, husband of Lorraine (Boyce) Marr occurred January 12, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born at Saint John, son of Hilda (Maher) Marr of Saint John and the late Alfred Marr Norman. He moved to Hampton in 1972. He was an industrial mechanic and worked at Atlantic Sugar Refinery, MacMillan Rothesay, Irving Refinery and Fundy Linen before retiring in December, 2003. Surviving besides his wife Lorraine and his mother Hilda are two daughters Christina Black (Paul) of Newburgh, Maine, Nicole Marr (Brian Woods) of Rothesay; one son Todd of Moncton; one brother Murray (Gerry) of Nerepis; three sisters Donna Henderson of Quispamsis, Gloria Jean LeFrancois (Adrien) of St. Martins, Deeda Trecartin (Murray) of St. Martins; two grandsons Justin and Michael Black; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one son Howard Earle. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. The funeral will be held Saturday, 1:00pm, at Reid's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Lyons officiating. Interment in Rothesay Baptist Cemetery in the spring. Memorials to the charity of your choice would be appreciated. Visiting 2-4pm and 7-9pm Friday.
