LEGERE, ARTHUR JOSEPH - On Saturday January 15, 2005, Arthur Joseph Legere of Fredericton passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital at the age of 63. Born in Rogersville, NB, he was a son of Alfreda (Leger) Legere and the late Ovile Legere. Art was employed by McFadzen Holdings for over 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, cards, family and friends. He is survived by five brothers Rene (Leona) Legere of Shediac; Donald (Suzanne) Legere of Toronto; Ivan (Marlene) Legere of Fredericton, Alfred (Ellen) Legere, Daniel (Karen) Legere all of Nasonworth; five sisters Dianne Belanger of Montreal, Doreen (Gerald) Comeau of Fredericton, Jeannette (John) Scholten of Hanwell, Louise (Carson) Fletcher, Donna (Lloyd) Joslin all of Beaverdam; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Apart from his father, Art was also predeceased by an infant sister Dorine. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road Fredericton, with visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Lincoln on Wednesday January 19, 2005 at 12:00 noon with Father Monte Peters officiating. Pallbearers will be nieces and nephews, Shawn Legere, Vincent Comeau, Jason Scholten, Joy Legere, Melissa Fletcher and Mark Legere. Interment will be held at a later date.
