SMITH, WALENA V.- The death of Walena V. Smith, widow of C. Russell Smith, occurred at the residence of her niece, Sheila Golding, 106 Vaughan Creek Rd., St. Martins, on Monday, January 17, 2005. Mrs. Smith was born in St. Martins, a daughter of the late John and Louise (Hoey) Holland. She is survived by two sons, Gordon R. Smith (Charlotte) of Courtise, Ont., and John T. Smith of Oshawa; one daughter, Evelyn Smith of Hunter Lake; one brother, Trueman Holland of St. Martins; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at St. William's Church, St. Martins, with visiting on Tuesday from 7 to 9 and on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. William's Church on Thursday morning at eleven o'clock. Interment will take place in St.William's Cemetery in the spring. www.fitzpatrickfh.com
