MARJORIE BAKER
BAKER, MARJORIE - At the Grand Falls General Hospital, January 18, 2005, Mrs. Marjorie Baker of Grand Falls passed away at the age of 84 years. She was the wife of the late Marven Baker. Born at Limestone, Maine in 1920, she was a daughter of the late George R. Curry Sr. and the late Viola (Davenport) Curry. For many years, she was very active in the Girl Guide movement as well as the Royal Canadian Legion. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Rosemarie Baker of Komoka, Ontario, two grandchildren, Angela Wilson and David Baker, three great grandchildren, Cameron Wilson, Emily and Sarah Baker, three sisters, Avis Cantafio of Limestone, Maine, Eliza Ward (Richard) of Lewiston, Maine and Beulah McLaughlin of Mount Vernon, Maine, sister-in-law, Elvena O'Regan and brother-in-law, Leo Cormier. She was predeceased by her son, John Baker, brothers Buel, Garth, George and Damon Curry and sisters, Ceterina Randall and Darlene Gust. Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Her funeral will be held Saturday, January 22nd at 11 a.m. from the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Grand Falls, with interment in the Assumption cemetery.
