AMHERST - Angela Beth Murray, 45, Amherst, Cumberland Co., passed away suddenly in the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan, on Thursday, April 24, 2008, with all of her family by her side. Born in Moncton, N.B., she was a daughter of Beatrice A. (Mattinson) (Murray) Brander, Amherst, and the late John "Jack" A. Murray. She was an adherent of Amherst Wesleyan Church. She was a leader for Sparks, Brownies and Girl Guides and was very involved with all of her daughter Brittney's school and extracuriicular activities. She was a member of the Brain Tumor Support Group in New Galsgow and in Moncton. She was a member of the defenders Motorcycle Club. She was a devoted mother and very devoted to her companion Paul. She had a very positive attitude toward life and lived life to the fullest. Here mottoes were "one day at a time" and "everything happens for a reason." She will be greatly missed by Luca "Mom's Boy." Surviving are her companion, Paul Johnston; daughter, Brittney D. McManaman, at home; son, Johnathan A. Murray (Alanna), Amherst; stepdaughter, Lindsey Johnston, Maccan, Cumberland Co., stepson, Tyler Johnston, Fort McMurray, Alta.; stepfather, G. Carl Brander, Amherst; sister, Sue A. Walker (Ken), Amherst; nephews, Brandon, Connon and Samuel Walker, all of Amherst; special friend, Megan MacLean, Oxford. Visitation will be Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening in Allen's Funeral Home, 60 Water St., Oxford. Funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, April 27, in the Church of the Nazarene, Oxford, with Pastor Bob Barnes, Rev. Raymond Fancy and Rev. Rick Kaye officiating. Interment will take place in Oxford Pine Grove Cemetery at a later date.
