HARPER, JANE BEATRICE - 1925 - 2005 - At the St. John Regional Hospital, Sunday January 23, 2005, at the age of 79, passed away Mrs. Jane Beatrice Harper (Brown), wife of the late Simon Harper and friend of the late Léo Guitard. Born on October 20, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Georges Brown and the late Rina Vibert. She is survived by three sisters: Lorna (late Vincent) Ferguson, Elsie Brown both from St. John, N.B. and Lyma Crocker from Bangor, Maine. Mrs. Harper will be greatly missed by her relatives and friends. Mrs. Harper's remains are now resting at the Miscou Island United Church Hall in Miscou. The funeral service will take place at the Miscou United Church Friday January 28, 2005 at 4:00 PM. The family would greatly appreciate donations to Portland United Church or the Palliative Care Unit of the St. John Regional Hospital. Visiting hours: Tuesday January 25th from 7 to 9 PM, Wednesday January 26th from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM, Thursday January 27th from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM, and Friday January 28th from 10:00 AM until the funeral service.
