Arthur C. Haynes Tidnish, NS - Arthur C. Haynes, age 86, of Tidnish, NS, passed away at the Gables Lodge, Amherst on Sunday, April 15, 2007. Born in Coventry, England, he was a son of the late Charles W. and Edith E. (Townsend) Haynes. He will be sadly missed by sons, Piercy (Bobbie), Lorneville, NS, Wendell (Doreen), Campbell River, BC, Michael (Bonnie), Campbell River, BC, Brian (Doreen), Amherst, Owen (Carole), Amherst, Ian (Lisa), Tidnish; daughters, June (Chris) Estabrooks, Tidnish, Linda (Neil) Ripley, Fenwick, Brenda (Darrell) Greeno, Chapman Settlement, NS, Faye (John) Haley, Tidnish, Joanne (Gordon) MacKay, Tidnish Bridge; sister Dorothy Haynes, Dartmouth; brothers Eugene (Margaret), Tidnish, Douglas (Evelyn), Lorneville, Dennis (Doris), Tidnish Bridge, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Eva (Totten); sons Wilfred and Gordon; grandsons Vincent and Rodney Estabrooks; sister Dulcie Haynes and brother John. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Furlong~Jones Funeral Home, Amherst, NS (902-667-8777). There will be no visitation or service at this time.
