STANLEY, RITA MARY - 87; of Grand Harbour, Grand Manan, passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital, on Saturday evening, February 5th, after a lengthy illness. Born in Rogersville, N.B. she was the daughter of the late Larry and Elizabeth Durant. Rita will be sadly missed by her family and many close friends. She was a devoted mother and homemaker. She is survived by one daughter Sharon Mason of Kelowena, B.C., two sons Laurence (Larry) (Phillip) of Grand Manan, and Joey Mason (Clara Mahar) of Saint John, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband Fred Flagg in 1988, one sister Annie, and one brother Stanley. The family will receive friends and relatives at Ells Funeral Home on Monday evening 7-9 PM and again on Tuesday 2-4 PM, 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 9th, at 1:00 PM , at the Castalia Baptist Church, Castalia, with Rev.
