DOW, MRS. GEORGINA MARIE - The death of Mrs. Georgina Marie Dow, wife of the late George W. Dow, occurred on Thursday February 10, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1923 in Montreal, PQ, she was the daughter of the late Joseph J. and Maude (Brown) Lizotte. Georgie was very involved in her grandchildren's activities, such as minor hockey and baseball. She is survived by her loving daughters Charmine Vnuk of Saint John and Cheryl Hunter (William) of Markham, Ontario, two step children, Stephen Dow (Gail) of Saint John and Sharon McAllister (Bob) of Chipman; sister Doris Hughes of Summerville; sister-in-law Annie Lizotte of Saint John; five grandchildren and five step grandchildren; several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by brothers J. Henry Lizotte and Dory Lizotte, sisters Mary Bennett and infant sister Elizabeth Ann Lizotte. Following Cremation, a Memorial Service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, (646-2424) on Monday February 14, 2005 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Fernhill Cemetery.
