CYR, BENEDICT - At the Edmundston Regional Hospital, February 13, 2005, Mr. Benedict Cyr, 78, husband of the former Therese Rossignol of Grand Falls, passed away. Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Leola (Hubert Levesque) of Saint-Andre and Rachel (Steve Katz) of New Jersey, six sons, Mathieu (Lena) of Saint-Leonard-Parent, Benoit (Diane) of Drummond, Gilles-Marie (friend Margo) and Rosaire of Grand Falls, Lucien Noel of New Denmark and Jean of Grand Falls, 15 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, sisters and brothers, Annette Cyr, Therese Cyr and Jacques Cyr (Murielle) of Grand Falls, Odé Cyr of Edmundston, Thomas Cyr (Louise) and Luc Cyr (Yolande) of Saint-Leonard-Parent and Laura (Robert Fournier) of Hamlin, Maine, sister-in-law, Evelyne Cyr (late Leandre) of Saint-Leonard-Parent, as well as nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Leandre. Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 12:30 to 2 p.m. His funeral will be held Thursday, February 17th at 2 p.m. from the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Grand Falls, with interment in the Assumption cemetery.
