HALSALL, FRED THOMAS - Passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, February 18th, 2005. He was the son of the late John Thomas and Ruby Halsall. Fred is survived by his loving wife, Edna Mary (Morton) Halsall; two sons, Gerry of Saint John and Brian (Debbie) of Bathurst; three daughters, Bev (Carl) Kipping of Long Reach, Darlene (Edward) Guimond of Saint John, and Heather of Nerepis; one sister, Louise Nowlan of Halifax; seven grandchildren, Roxanne, Alexander, Caleb, Jennifer, Michele, Benjamin, and Geena; and several great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Besides his parents, a brother Gerry predeceased Fred. Fred was employed with the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Local # 73 for over thirty-five years. Arrangements are under the professional care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB. (646-2424). By the request of Fred's family, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Interment will be held in Maces Bay Cemetery in the spring.
