ROLAND BURLEY
BURLEY, ROLAND - It is with sorrow the family of Roland Burley announces his death at the Thunder Bay Regional Science Centre on Wed. March 9th. Dad passed away peacefully with family at his side. He is survived by three daughters; Dawn Wrenshall (Michael) of Thunder Bay, Heather Soule (David) of Ottawa and S. Jane Burley (Jonathan Cork) of Calgary. He has also left behind six grandchildren; Samantha Plavins (Alvis) of Thunder Bay, Natasha Wrenshall (Rod Castellanos) of Japan, Jonathan Wrenshall of Thunder Bay, Amanda Melaika and Emma Soule of Ottawa and great granddaughter Piper Grace Plavins. His grandchildren will miss him greatly but the memories they have will sustain them. Please remember Grampie for his smarties, his $5 treats, his long, oh so LONG detailed stories about working for Dexters...that could go on and on for hours...as one at a time, we slip out of the room until the last person sits nodding...only to hear them all again the next time. We all loved those precious stories...and then the ones on how he met Gee..."she was a great old girl !". He worked so hard, he always did so much and he taught us to "put it up there in that grey matter". Our Dad loved life but loved our Mother so much more. Now they are forever united with the Lord. Dad you did win the biggest jackpot of all. Love you forever. As per the family's wishes, a private service will be held on March 11th at Everest Funeral Chapel with burial at Mountain View Cemetery, Thunder Bay, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly ap
