AMHERST - Charlotte Helena Cormier, age 82, of Amherst passed away on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008, at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre in Upper Nappan, N.S. Born in Port Greville, N.S., she was a daughter of the late Onslow and Carrie (McCully) Legere. Charlotte was a member of the Holy Family Parish, Amherst. She is survived by four daughters, Sherrie Elliott (Gordon Jackson), Heather (Doug Polley Jr.) and Joanne Oake (Mike Legere) all of Amherst and Debbie (David) Boyd of Dartmouth, three sons, Doug (Arlene) of Fenwick and Darren (Tasha) of Amherst and Robert (Paula) of Moncton, two brothers, Archie (Marjorie) Legere of Parrsboro and Stuart (Isabelle) Legere of Bass River, 16 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Charlotte was predeceased by her husband Abbey and one brother Frederick and also son-in-laws Ronnie Elliott Jr. and Bradley Oake. Visitation will be held on Monday, Feb. 18, 2008, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., with Parish prayers at 8 p.m. all in Campbell’s Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst, NS (667-9906) The funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Holy Family Parish, Amherst on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Father Vernon Driscoll officiating.
