GARNER, ERIC ROBERT "IGGY" - The death of Eric Garner of Lakewood Avenue occurred unexpectedly at his residence on Saturday March 19, 2005. He was born in Saint John and was the son of Jean Norwood (LeBlanc) and the late William Garner. Eric was employed for 26 years at The Saint John Transit Commission and most recently as the Parts Manager. He will be missed by all his friends and family. In addition to his mother, Eric is survived by his wife Jacqueline Garner (Sharpe); three sons, Robert Garner, Bryan Garner and Jarid Sharpe. Also survived by five brothers, Kenneth, David and Gary Norwood, Wayne and Robert Garner; two sisters, Debbie LeBlanc and Wendy Garner; as well as several nieces and nephews. Resting at A. W. Cavanagh Funeral Home 91 Leinster Street (634-1712) with visiting on Monday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held from Cavanagh's Chapel on Tuesday at 2 pm followed by burial in Fernhill Cemetery.
