CLAREY, PETER NELSON - The death of Peter Nelson Clarey of Woodstock, NB, husband of Godelieve (Vanbooren) Clarey occurred after a lengthy illness on March 30, 2005 at the Carleton Memorial Hospital at the age of 91. Born in Milltown Cross, PEI he was the son of the late Andrew and Sadie (Beers) Clarey. Peter has left behind his loving family, wife Godelieve; sons John (Elizabeth), Alva (Cathy); daughters, Deborah Clarey, Brenda Crawford (Gerald); and six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Peter is predeceased by his brothers John and George Clarey and his half sister Elizabeth Rourks. Peter was a Veteran of World War II. There will be no visitation or funeral but instead a Legion Tribute at The Carleton Funeral Home Chapel, 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville with only family members in attendance. The family wishes to express appreciation to all who have supported our family during Peter's illness.
