McARTHUR, M. DAWN (McFARLANE), (HARDING) - of Adelaide St. Saint John, died peacefully at the SJRH on Wednesday March 30, 2005. She was born in St. Stephen, NB and was the wife of the late Eugene Harding and the late Carroll McArthur and daughter of the late Henry and Helen (Jones) McFarlane. Dawn spent the greater part of her life in Saint John and was employed for a number of years in the parcel express department of S.M.T. She was a member of Portland United Church, a member of Branch #69 Royal Canadian Legion, involved with the Cub Scouts and was Cub Leader for many years at Portland United Church. Dawn enjoyed ceramics and crafts. Survived by two sons; Peter Harding (Barbara) and Stephen Harding (Elizabeth) both of Saint John, one brother; Peter McFarlane (Margo) of Calgary, Alberta, five grandchildren; Amy, Eugene, Stephen, Sarah and Amanda Rose as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one sister; Joan McGill Hebert. Resting at A. W. Cavanagh Funeral Home, 91 Leinster Street (634-1712) with visiting on Thursday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11:00am in Cavanagh's Chapel and internment in Ocean View Cemetery.
