It is with great sadness that we announced the passing of our dear mother, surrounded by her loving family, on July 14, 2008 at Placentia Health Care Centre, age 82 years. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Mary Bennett, husband Wilfred, daughter Betty Sooley, grandson Shawn Bartlett and son-in-law Gordon Bartlett. Leaving to mourn three sons Donald (Liz), Ed (Marge) and Gerard; five daughters Jeannie (Danny), Sharon, Linda (Brendan), Diane (Tony), Trina (Greg), special friend Pius Ryan, brother Stan Bennett (Marie), nineteen grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia. Visitation on Wednesday, July 16 from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Church, Placentia on Thursday, July 17, 2008 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Dermot McGettigan Memorial Cemetery, Southeast, Placentia.
