LECKEY, IDA MAY - Peacefully at the Mill Cove Nursing Home, on Wednesday, April 20th, 2005 Ida May Leckey, in her 82nd year. Survived by her husband, Leslie Leckey and son Leonard Leckey of Waterborough; by daughters Doreen (Archie) Smith of Lower Cambridge and Lois (Robert) McGibbon of Waterborough; by brother Fred (Ida) Fairweather of Chipman; by sisters Ada Lewis of Saint John, Hazel Starkey of Fredericton, Alice Luscombe of London, Ontario, Amy (Phillip) Carr of Saint John, Laura (Curtis) McDonald of Brantford, Ontario, Carol Busson of Saint John, Lorraine (Harry) Daley of Saint John and Shirley (Wayne) Daye of British Columbia; by grandchildren John (Sandra) Smith of Lower Cambridge, Lisa and Jason McGibbon of Calgary, Dustin and Danielle Leckey of Waterborough; by great grandchildren Katelyn and Angelia Smith of Lower Cambridge. Predeceased by parents Hilyard and Mada (Kilfillen) Fairweather, by brothers Lawrence, Frank, Charles, Walter and infant Leslie Fairweather and by granddaughter Marie Smith. Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home (339-6612) until Saturday when funeral services will be held from the Waterborough Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. Interment in the Youngs Cove United Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the Waterborough Baptist Church or the Youngs Cove United Cemetery would be appreciated by the family.
